Few people had computers while ATB was growing up, and when people began making music using computers in the late 1980s, ATB was one of them. Since there was no recognized term for electronic music at the time, what ATB was doing was referred to as computer music experimentation.
When ATB was just 20 years old in 1993, he launched his first single of electronic music, which was later referred to as electronic music. He had to deal with criticism from seasoned classical musicians who disliked electronic music, but on the other hand, fresh artists who were eager to learn electronic music complimented him for his efforts. For the following 30 years, ATB continued to produce EDM music. Since then, he has released almost one song or album every other year, and his singles have received over 173 million downloads. He belongs to the younger generation. Along with producing music on his own, he continued his career as a disc jockey, worked with other European Circle celebrities, and significantly contributed to their rise to stardom.

Career Of ATB
Tanneberger’s musical career began with the dance music collective Sequential One. Sequential One released their first song, “Let Me Hear You,” in February 1993, followed by “Dance” and “Raving.” They received little financial benefits by being single, and André was given the chance to set up a small studio. Ulrich Poppelbaum, Woody van Eyden, and vocalist Morpha joined the band in 1994. The group’s debut album, Dance, was released by the House Nation label at the beginning of 1995.
Sequential One had enormous success in his own Germany before slowly gaining notoriety throughout the rest of Europe. The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, and other countries also released their second album, Energy, which was first released in Germany. Despite their success and increasing notoriety, Woody van Eyden and Morpha departed the project in 1998, leaving only André and Ullrich. Sequential One stopped existing in 1999. André was able to release the last song “Angels” and the compilation CD Decades just before the collapse.
1998–1999: ATB and Movin’ Melodies are founded
Tanneberger launched a solo endeavor called ATB in 1998. His debut song was “9 PM (Till I Come),” which was on the Movin’ Melodies album and peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart in 1999. [2] The song used a well-known slide guitar riff that was synthesized. [2] His early hits adopted this guitar tone as their signature. With each new album, ATB continues to develop and change. More vocals and various sounds, including frequent pianos, are used in his current style.
He only continued to release a few singles in the UK, including “Don’t Stop!” and “Killer,” but he continues to release music frequently in his native Germany and other parts of Europe, where he has achieved major success with songs like “I Don’t Wanna Stop” and his cover of Olive’s 1996 hit “You’re Not Alone.”
Two Worlds in 2000–2001
His second studio album, Two Worlds, was released in 2000. It is a two-disc album built around the idea that different musical genres suit various moods. The World of Movement and The Relaxing World are the names of the two CDs. Heather Nova is featured on two tracks on this album: “Love Will Find You” and “Feel You Like a River.” Roberta Carter Harrison of the Canadian pop group Wild Strawberries provided the vocals for the song “Let U Go” on the “The World of Movement” album. The musical composition “Enigmatic Encounter” contains pieces from the Enigma music project.
Dedicated and ATC litigation, 2001–2002
In 2002, he released Dedicated, his third album. The songs “Hold You” and “You’re Not Alone,” two big singles, are included. The September 11 attacks are mentioned in the title. ATB successfully sued the ATC record label in 2002, forcing it to change its name to “A Touch of Class.”
2003: Music Addiction
Addicted to Music, which featured singles like “I Don’t Wanna Stop” and “Long Way Home,” was released by ATB in 2003. The first DVD from ATB with the same name was released in the same year. It included all of his videos, a documentary on his tour, and pictures.
2004: No Quiet
The album No Silence contains the ATB classics “Ecstasy” and “Marrakech,” both of which Tiff Lacey sang the vocals for (2004). The Mindhunters movie’s soundtrack also featured “Marrakech.”
Seven Years, 2005–2006
ATB issued Seven Years, a compilation album with 20 songs that included all of his singles, in 2005. Seven Years also features six brand-new songs, such as the Tiff Lacey-co-written single “Humanity” and the 2005 remix of “Let U Go.” Recent ATB albums frequently included vocals by Roberta Carter Harrison, lead vocalist for the Canadian band Wild Strawberries.
Trilogy of 2007–2008
Trilogy, his following album, was released on May 4, 2007. The DJ 4 in the Mix track, “Justify,” was made available. Heather Nova is a part of the single “Renegade,” which was released on April 12th, 2007. In July of the same year, “Feel Alive” was released as the third single.
Because “Don’t Stop!” is similar to his first hit, “9 PM (Till I Come),” ATB previously regarded it as his weakest production to date in an interview with Trance.nu on May 11, 2007, however he no longer holds that opinion.
2010: Future Reminiscences
On May 5, 2009, the album Future Memories was made available. Prior to the album’s release, “What About Us” was made available as the lead single. The successful songs “My Everything,” “Still Here,” and “Missing” (a chillout cover of Everything but the Girl’s classic) were all produced in conjunction with Tiff Lacey.
2011: Faraway Earth
Distant Earth was published on April 29, 2011, and Distant Earth Remixed was published on September 16, 2011.
2012–2016: Get in touch
Sunset Beach DJ Session 2, which was released on June 8, 2012 At the Ultra Music Festival’s A State of Trance 600 Miami on March 24, 2013, ATB declared his intention to release his upcoming album in the second half of the year. ATB announced in September that he was working on the album’s final tune and that it will consist of 24 songs across two CDs. ATB in Concert performances will also be held in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York City as part of the American tour announced by the artist. ATB has previously reserved Eastern Europe for the previous six ATB in Concert performances.
2017–2020: neXt
On February 10, 2017, Andre revealed on his Facebook page that his tenth studio album, which is due out on April 21, will be called Next (stylized as neXt). The album will be offered in three formats: a conventional double-disc CD, a Limited Edition Box, and a 12″ double-vinyl bundle, all of which are available for pre-order on Amazon as of the announcement day.
On April 21, 2017, ATB made neXt available via Kontor Records.
Until now: “Your Love (9PM)”
ATB, German producer Topic, and Swedish singer Alexander ‘A7S’ Tidebrink collaborated on the version of “9 PM (Till I Come),” which was published on Positiva Records in 2021. The song, now known as “Your Love (9PM),” debuted at number one in Germany and the UK’s Official Charts Company Top 75 singles chart.
