Eerie twist in Kiely Rodni missing case as it’s revealed two others vanished nearby on same day

TRUCKEE, CALIFORNIA — A woman and her ex-boyfriend went missing while on a road trip to Reno, Nevada. The incident occurred approximately 35 miles distant from where search efforts were being conducted for Kiely Rodni, who had vanished the day before.

On August 7, Janette “JJ” Pantoja, age 29, and Juan Almanza Zavala, age 36, went to the Hot August Nights car exhibition. Alejandra, Janette’s sister, shared that despite their breakup many years ago, the two have maintained a friendly relationship with one another. On the evening of August 6 around 11 o’clock, Janette sent a text message to her current lover informing him that she would be there in thirty minutes.

The case of missing girl Kiely Rodni: the teen’s mother is pleading for her daughter’s safe return while chilling signs point to an abduction.

A GPS glitch caused a family of four to become separated in the OUTBACK; their bodies were discovered after two days.

Alejandra revealed to Fox News Digital that Janette’s boyfriend had gotten a message from her stating that she had ceased disclosing her location with others. “She just never communicated anything other than that,” Alejandra stated, adding, “She’s not like that.”

The exes used to spend a lot of time together going out to dinner and attending activities, and the Yuba City police reported that their phones showed that they were most recently in Nevada County. Janette and Juan were on their way back to Yuba City in California from Reno, which is located in the state of Nevada. Reno is located around 56 kilometers to the north of the Prosser Family Campground, which is the location where 16-year-old Rodni was seen the last time approximately 23 hours ago.

It has been reported by a representative for the Yuba City Police Department that the authorities do not possess any proof that may suggest that the two incidents are related to one another. It is suspected that Janette and Juan were traveling in the SUV driven by Juan, which was a blue 2002 Ford Explorer and bore the license plate number 4SNS072.

In the meantime, Alejandra Pantoja is of the opinion that the authorities are not assisting with her sister’s investigation enough. She stated, “I thought the police were quite disrespectful,” and she went on to say, “I contacted them today because I wanted to know about my sister, and they were like we can’t keep in contact with you every day.”

In continuation, Alejandra stated, “They have been telling us that they were going to send an aerial search, but they haven’t done anything.” She stated, “I just feel that if something happened to them, or if he did something to her, they’re just giving (suspects) time to go.” She meant that if something had happened to them, or if he had done something to her.

She continued, “Why are they making a big deal out of what they are doing for her (Kiely Rodni), but they aren’t making a big deal out of what they are doing for a member of our family? It is not acceptable.”

Rodni was last seen leaving the campground at 1:30 in the morning on Saturday, August 6, after having attended a “big party” that evening with more than one hundred other young adults. She has not been seen since. Her 2013 silver Honda CRV, which bears the California license plate number 8YUR127, has also been reported missing by the authorities.

Anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of Janette and Juan is asked to contact the Yuba City police at the number 530-822-4661.
