Ghum Hain Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein: Production
The pilot episode of the television series was shot in September of 2020.
The majority of the series’ filming took place in Mumbai, but the very beginning of the show was captured on camera in Nashik.
After Neil Bhatt and a member of the crew tested positive for the COVID-19 virus in March 2021, filming had to be put on hold for a few days, which ultimately led to a change in the course of events.
On April 13, 2021, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra made the announcement that a curfew would go into effect on April 15. After filming in Mumbai for 16 and 17 April, the crew moved production to Goa for a few weeks in order to await confirmation from the government that they can resume filming in Mumbai.
Uddhav Thackeray has declared that all filming in the state of Maharashtra, including in urban and rural areas, must come to an immediate halt as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a result, the producers of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin relocated to Goa, where they received permission from the local government to only film scenes inside, within their own bio-bubble.
Everything went according to plan, but in May of 2021, the producers shot a scene at Goa Fort despite the restrictions that were in place there.

Some viewers took issue with the ongoing surrogacy storyline in July 2022 and filed a complaint with the International Broadcasting Federation (IBF), claiming that Patralekha was depicted as becoming a surrogate mother through an improper medical procedure.
