Early Life of Sulaiman Merchant
The ancestral town of Salim–Sulaiman is located in Mundra, which is located in the state of Gujarat.
Sulaiman Merchant was born on December 21, 1970, while his brother Salim Merchant was born on March 3, 1974.
Their father Sadruddin Merchant, who used to be the leader of the Ismaili Scouts Orchestra in India, served as a major influence on them.
Salim mastered the piano on at the Trinity College of Music in London, while Sulaiman took up tabla training with such legendary musicians as Taufiq Qureshi and Ustad Zakir Hussain. Both Salim and Sulaiman were influenced by their father, Sadruddin Merchant, a veteran of the film industry and a composer. [4] They gained praise for the film soundtrack of Bhoot, which they composed six years after they had written their first piece of music for a Bollywood film.

Bio of Sulaiman Merchant
After scoring more than one hundred films, including Kurbaan, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Fashion, Band Baaja Baaraat, Aaja Nachle, and Heroine, Salim and Sulaiman Merchant are now considered to be among the most reputable composers in India. In addition, they have composed the scores for approximately 20 television episodes, as well as several records, mixing elements of cinematic, folk, electronica, and sufi music into their work.
